My name is Sierra Furia. I am a 19 year old race car driver from Lakeport, CA. I have been racing since I was the age of 8, where I started in dirt outlaw karts. I raced dirt outlaw karts for 5 years until I made a jump to asphalt racing at my hometown track Lakeport Speedway. I started in a Bandolero, where I ran a few races until I got moved into a Legend car. We had only ran a few races in the Legend car until I made another jump to the Bomber division, where I competed for a season. During this time, I was still running dirt outlaw karts at the local tracks in Lakeport. My parents then made a decision to move me into the Extreme Outlaw class, and also made a another decision to have me run a second car, Modified. I became the first female to run in both divisions and become rookie of the year in both divisions. I also became the first female to ever win a Modified win event at Lakeport Speedway. The 2015 season, we decided to keep me in the same divisions to run for championship. Sadly, motor issues came along with both divisions, and moved us down in standings. I became the first female to ever hold a track record in the Modified division and the first female to ever win a Exteme Outlaw main event at Lakeport and Ukiah Speedway. My parents made a huge decision for my racing career, and bought me a Late Model where I had been running with the PCS series. This season I am set to run Modified, and also my Super Late with PCS. I am ready to take on new challenges!I know that racing is where I want to continue going, and I would love to move up in the racing world. I know that I can achieve my goals and push myself to keep going. Racing is predominantly a male sport but I am ready to make that change..
